Metallurgical TechnicianAcuren is seeking a Metallurgical Technician to support operations in West Boylston, MA. A challenging and rewarding career opportunity exists for Metallurgical Technician to provide failure analysis laboratory processes for a variety of mechanical and materials components.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for documentation of samples submitted to the laboratory and during laboratory testing which can include photography, hand sketches, recording data in tables, worksheets and/or spreadsheets.Responsible for laboratory preparation processes relating to failure analysis of a variety of mechanical or materials including metallographic preparation and documentation, interpretations, and testing. May include testing such as hardness and microhardness, optical emissions spectrometry, electrical testing, pressure testing.
