Now Hiring: Part-Time Secretary / Office Assistant
Location: Pender County
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour

A well-established, family-owned business in Pender County is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Secretary to support daily office operations. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, staying organized, and keeping an office running smoothly.

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, a supportive work environment, and the stability of working for a business that values its employees.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Approximately 22 hours per week
• No weekends
• Closed 3–4 times per year for holidays

What You’ll Be Doing

• Answering and routing incoming phone calls professionally
• Greeting customers and visitors and assisting as needed
• Entering and maintaining accurate data from sales tickets
• Supporting daily office operations, filing, and recordkeeping
• Assisting with basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks
• Helping keep the office organized and running efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in an office, administrative, or secretary role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using computers and office software
• Experience with QuickBooks and spreadsheets preferred, but not required
• Friendly and professional communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
