What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings, assessments, and evaluations for inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on assessments
• Perform regular rounds in confinement areas to assess mental health needs
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and confrontation avoidance techniques
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and security staff
• Maintain thorough documentation of mental health care activities
• Ensure compliance with correctional facility policies and safety protocols

What You Need

• Valid Psychologist license or board eligibility in Nevada
• BLS certification (completed or pending) per facility requirements
• Experience with mental health assessments and treatment in correctional or similar settings
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure environment
