Courier I

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. Join our team as a Courier at 805 Frontage Road, Kenai, AK. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. as required by route; additional days and hours may be needed. Job Responsibilities Coverage for various routes in SVT Health and Wellness, Kachemak Bay Family Planning, and other local clinics. Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups. Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner. Deliver all daily picks to the branch at the end of the shift. Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently. Operate the company vehicle safely and obey all traffic laws. Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups. Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed. Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed. Minimum Qualifications No experience or education required. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Six months or more experience as a driver or medical courier. Six months or more experience in customer service. Additional Job Standards Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. At least 21 years old. Punctual with strong time‑management skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to problem‑solve customer issues. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
