Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Traveler's choice of schedule options available.

The Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute hospital setting. Utilizing a Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model, the RN will work collaboratively with a Virtual RN and a CNA to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, managing dysrhythmias and administering appropriate interventions.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding discharge plans and ongoing care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess an active RN license in the state of Alaska (or have application submitted within 48 hours of signing).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
