Our Treatment Foster Care program provides therapeutic, community-based foster care services to children and youth with complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs — partnering with dedicated foster families to create safe, nurturing, and healing environments.The OpportunityAs a Treatment Foster Care Clinician, you will serve as the primary clinical support for children in foster care and their foster families — providing therapy, crisis support, and wraparound services that promote healing and permanency. You will:Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and youth in treatment foster care placementsConduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each child's needs and permanency goalsDeliver trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., TF-CBT, CBT, play therapy)Provide crisis intervention and on-call support to foster families as neededRecruit, train, and support foster families in implementing therapeutic strategies at homeCollaborate with foster families, caseworkers, school staff, courts, and community providers to coordinate comprehensive careMonitor placement stability and work proactively to prevent placement disruptionsMaintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with COMAR, OHCQ, and agency standardsParticipate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional developmentDrive cultural transformation efforts by championing a trauma-informed, family-centered culture within the programWhat We're Looking For Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required) Active licensure in Maryland (LCSW, LCPC, LMSW, LGPC, or working toward full licensure) 2+ years of clinical experience working with children, youth, and/or families in a foster care, child welfare, or community-based setting Knowledge of trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities Familiarity with Maryland child welfare regulations and COMAR requirements Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and on-call rotations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home and community visits Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to applyWhy The Children's Guild?Mission-driven culture — join a team dedicated to providing safe, healing homes for children who need it mostCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and visionClinical supervision toward full licensure (LCSW, LCPC)Mileage reimbursement for community and home visitsOngoing professional development in TF-CBT, trauma-informed care, and child welfare best practicesCollaborative, supportive team environmentMeaningful work — every family you support is a step toward a child's healing and permanencyReady to Change a Child's Story?If you are a passionate, skilled clinician committed to helping children in foster care heal and find permanency, we want to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr The-Children
