Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent Level II experience; new graduates acceptable only if Level II clinical experience completed (observation-only Level I does not qualify). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required. Active Oklahoma state license to practice as an SLP is required prior to start of assignment. Experience in long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility or inpatient rehabilitation settings is required (minimum 1 year preferred by client). Demonstrated competency in dysphagia evaluation and treatment and use of standardized assessment tools. Ability to document accurately in electronic medical record systems and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements. Ability to supervise and support CFY candidates or student SLPs. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: 8 hour days, 35 GWW. Weekend Requirement: None. Duration: 13 week assignment. Required Certifications/Licenses: Active OK State License; ASHA CCC. Clinical Requirements: Minimum 1 year SLP experience; LTC or rehab experience required. Supervisory Role: May supervise CFY or student SLPs during assignment.
