Director, Market Access and Connectivity Strategy

Director of Access Services We are seeking a Director of Access Services to lead multiple large‑scale initiatives concurrently, from ideation to execution and implementation. The role reports to the Head of North American Market Data & Access Services and oversees North American Access Services products, including physical and logical access to our markets. The candidate must manage continuous product development, functionality enhancements, policy changes, and pricing modifications while focusing on revenue growth. Responsibilities Product Strategy & Management – Assist in identifying and assessing new product ideas, market opportunities, and gaps; develop product roadmap based on detailed analysis, research, customer feedback, and internal collaboration; own business case development, build relationships with stakeholders, and lead projects to launch commercially successful products. Project Management – Act as project manager on high‑value projects ensuring launch of products, coordinating with internal stakeholders. Industry Knowledge – Strong knowledge of equities and options markets and of firms that trade on them; experience managing connectivity products and launching new products. Subject Matter Expert – Serve as the internal SME and escalation point for day‑to‑day product requests and questions. Business Development & GTM – Oversee and influence the entire GTM process; coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and other client functions, engage directly with trading firms, brokers, vendors, and service providers to understand connectivity needs and remain competitive; discuss product suite with clients; craft customer‑centric solutions around trading systems, network architecture, and data platforms. Business Analysis & Operations – Monitor emerging trends in customer latency, vendor technologies, and regulatory developments to inform roadmap prioritization; analyze data and competitor pricing to recommend product and policy actions; assist in drafting commercial contracts, policies, and legal filings with legal team. Qualifications At least 12 years of related experience in product management. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field). MBA preferred. Proficient knowledge of telecommunications, wide‑area networks, and trading infrastructure. Excellent communication, verbal, written, and customer‑service skills (internal and external). Strong analytical, forecasting, documentation, presentation, and approval‑gaining skills. Team player who can collaborate across multiple regions. Self‑starter with ability to prioritize, multi‑task, manage multiple projects independently. Attention to detail, strong analytical and research skills (qualitative & quantitative). Prior experience with exchange connectivity products (co‑location, sponsored access, logical connectivity) preferred. Benefits and Perks Competitive salary and incentive compensation packages. Additional Information This position follows a four‑day in‑office work model. Salary range for US locations: $177,650 – $261,250 base. Additional annual incentive compensation and long‑term equity programs may be applicable. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
