What You Will Do Every Day
This is a clinical dental hygienist role where you are trusted to do what you were trained to do:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and scaling and root planning for patients of all ages
Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and patient assessments
Take and interpret dental x-rays (digital radiographs)
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as clinically indicated
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and clinical charting
Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique at all times
Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
Utilize dental practice management software (Eaglesoft) for scheduling, charting, and billing workflows
Monitor patient vital signs and conduct thorough periodontal assessments

Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protection
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients
Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration certification
Must be able to commute to or relocate to Forest, Virginia
