Cardiac Rehabilitation Services Fitness program to strengthen heart health Nutrition counseling Psychological counseling Weight management Stress management Smoking cessation Diabetes education Support groups Responsibilities Works in collaboration with nurses and exercise physiologists in the Cardio Pulmonary Rehabilitation program to care for patients with recent cardiac or pulmonary events. Assists with patient process flows: cardiac telemetry monitoring, vital signs, patient education, patient assessment, maintaining exercise prescriptions, setting exercise machines, etc. Assists in cleaning/sanitizing/maintaining equipment. Attends in-services as required for position. Assists in maintaining logs as needed. An associate’s degree in nursing (required); a bachelor’s degree preferred. BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Critical care experience.
