This role works under moderate supervision to support forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting with moderate impact on team results. It partners with finance and operational teams to provide accurate, timely financial insights that support decision-making.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrevious residential homebuilding, land development, or real estate industry experience requiredPrepare financial analyses, models, and reports to support planning and performance managementAnalyze actual results versus forecasts and budgets to identify variances and trendsSupport forecasting and scenario analysis by compiling and validating financial dataInvestigate financial discrepancies and variances through analysis and collaboration with internal partnersMaintain accurate financial documentation to support controls and audit readinessCommunicate financial results, assumptions, and insights to internal stakeholdersAssist with preparation of presentations and materials for leadership reviewSupport improvements to financial analysis tools, processes, and reportingProvide guidance or assistance to entry-level staff or support employees as appropriateEducation & Experience Required:Minimum 2 years of relevant financial analysis, finance, or accounting experience, or equivalent (e.g., 6–8 years)Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related fieldExperience supporting financial analysis, forecasting, or reporting processesAbility to provide informal guidance or assistance to others within a team environmentPreferred:Additional experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance environmentsKnowledge of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysisExperience using ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and advanced spreadsheet toolsSkills & CompetenciesBroad knowledge of financial analysis and reporting principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating financial dataHigh attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and documentationEffective communication skills for explaining financial concepts and findingsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under moderate supervisionProficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and spreadsheet applicationsAbility to interpret and apply financial policies and proceduresWorking ConditionsWork is primarily performed in a general office environment with standard business hours.
