VCA Wickaboag Animal Hospital is hiring a part time or full time certified veterinary technician to join our team!

About Us

We are a four-doctor full service veterinary hospital open six days a week. We provide top quality veterinary services including wellness exams, preventative care, vaccines, diagnostic services, surgical procedures, spays, neuters, dental procedures and more.

At VCA Wickaboag Animal Hospital each member of our medical team is well-versed in the advanced techniques of dentistry, anesthesia, and veterinary care. We incorporate modern exam rooms, diagnostics, laboratory, and other medical assets into our facility in order to promote a calm, comfortable atmosphere for you and your pets.

We work closely with you to help you understand your pet's unique health needs and to develop a preventive plan that best meets those needs. Compensation: $20.18 - $30.27 / hr is based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.

Schedule: Part Time, Weekend rotation required

What You'll Do

Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

• Compassionate patient care
• Client education and communication
• Patient assessment
• Anesthesia and surgery assisting
• Radiology
• Dentistry
• Catheter placement
• Venipuncture
• Laboratory work

• Medical recordkeeping
