Job Description: As a Planet Smoothie Smoothie Maker, you will be responsible for creating delicious and nutritious smoothies for our customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality beverages and a memorable experience at our smoothie bar. Your primary focus will be on preparing smoothies according to our recipes while providing exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:Prepare smoothies following Planet Smoothie's recipes and guidelines, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.Operate and maintain smoothie-making equipment, including blenders, juicers, and other related machinery.Utilize a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients to create innovative and appealing smoothie combinations.Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and meet quality standards.Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions they may have about our smoothies.Offer recommendations and suggest add-ons or modifications to enhance the customer experience.Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using the point-of-sale (POS) system.Maintain inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and assist in other tasks as needed.Requirements:Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a smoothie bar or food service environment.Knowledge of various fruits, vegetables, and ingredients commonly used in smoothie preparation.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus.Benefits: We offer competitive wages, flexible scheduling options, and a positive work environment where you can enhance your customer service and food preparation skills.
