We are seeking a skilled, empathetic, Medical Assistant who is committed to delivering outstanding clinical care and exceptional service in a dynamic Pediatrics environment.

Job Summary

Medical Assistant provides essential clinical and administrative support within our pediatrics practices to ensure efficient operations and exceptional patient care. This role is responsible for assisting providers during examinations and procedures, preparing patients and exam rooms, and performing clinical tasks in accordance with established protocols. The Medical Assistant also supports front‑office functions, contributing to a seamless patient experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic healthcare environment. Through compassionate service, effective communication skills, and adaptability, the Medical Assistant plays a key role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vitals including height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse

• Assist /Administer immunizations and injections

• Assist with medical procedures

• Perform routine clinic screenings and testing

• Interview patients to gather medical history and record vital statistics and test results

• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms for patient examinations

• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician

• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician

• Check patients in and out of the clinic and schedule follow-up appointments

• Accurately record vital signs in EMR software

• Perform additional duties as needed to support clinic operations and patient care

Basic Qualifications & Interests (BQIs)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant. 

• High School Diploma and Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or Certification in Medical Assisting (e.g., CMA, RMA)

• CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

• Excellent customer service skills; Attention to detail in all tasks

• Ability to work collaboratively in a positive environment

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

• Previous Pediatrics experience

• BLS certification 

• Proficiency in EMR software 

• Effective written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Schedule

Full-time, 8-hour shifts (M-F)
