Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client evaluations to assess mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic sessions through video, phone, or messaging platforms, ensuring an engaging and supportive environment for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within Talkspace to address complex cases and coordinate holistic care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions and peer consultations to stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies based on individual needs and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health counselor at Talkspace, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and various other psychological challenges. Our platform serves a broad range of demographics, ensuring that you can apply your expertise to help people from many backgrounds and life experiences find the support they need.

Qualifications

• A valid, independent clinical license (LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) approved by the state where you reside.
• Professional malpractice liability insurance coverage.
• Completion of a fully signed CAQH application enabling efficient client onboarding.
• Individual NPI number for billing and insurance purposes.
• Current residency in the United States, with the ability to provide services to clients in various states.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in telehealth or a fully remote environment is highly desirable.
• Previous clinical experience in community health settings or with diverse populations is a plus.
• Familiarity with treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the attractive salary, we provide a monthly client engagement bonus of up to $4,000, rewarding your commitment to client care and engagement.
