Engineering Technician - 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Engineering Technician - 1st Shift.The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.The shift hours are 8am - 5pm.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Engineering Technician is a versatile, multi-functional team member responsible for supporting engineering and design teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate preparation, control, and deployment of Manufacturing Information (MI) to the production floor, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and departmental operational efficiency.In this function you will:Assist engineering and design teams with daily technical and administrative activitiesPrepare and deploy Manufacturing Information (MI) to the production floor, ensuring accuracy and timelinessMaintain and control engineering drawings, documentation, and revision records in accordance with company standardsSupport the management and distribution of manufacturing information across relevant teamsContribute to continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance engineering processes and workflowsAssist with departmental functional development projects and process enhancementsMaintain accurate and up-to-date engineering department data and recordsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality, to support operational goalsQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:High School diploma from an accredited institutionPrevious experience with Microsoft Office and engineering/document management systemsEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
