Inpatient Occupational TherapistThis is a 13-week contract position.5x8 Days, Tuesday to SaturdayThe Inpatient Occupational Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment for patients in an acute care hospital setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation. The role requires collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, particularly for those undergoing surgery.Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.Implement therapy interventions to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.Provide education to patients and families regarding home exercise programs and safety measures.Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapy and Social Services, for comprehensive patient care.Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.Must possess current BLS certification.NBCOT certification is required.Washington State License is necessary for practice.1-2 years of acute care experience preferred, with an emphasis on orthopedic and ICU exposure.Experience with Adaptive Equipment Assessment and patient safety protocols.First-time travelers are welcome to apply.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
