Title
Labor & Delivery - Registered Nurse

Schedule
Weekends: Required - every other weekend
On-call: Yes - may have one on-call shift per pay period during low census

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP, STABLE
- EMR: Epic
- Core clinical skills: Labor & delivery care (LDRP), vaginal delivery assistance, fetal monitoring, neonatal care, high-risk antepartum/postpartum, procedural skills including sterile vaginal exams and IV management.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor and postpartum.
- Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and respond to changes in condition.
- Perform newborn assessments and resuscitation as needed.
- Manage high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and eclampsia.
- Educate patients on breastfeeding and discharge instructions.

Compliance / Notes
Orientation: 72 hours
Pre-approved time off: One request pre-approved
Holiday coverage: Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required during compliance.
Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
