Nursing Assistant – Nursing

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required
• Current nursing license per the state of assignment: Required
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities:

• Provides personal nursing care under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN).
• Assists with activities of daily living including self-care needs, nutrition, hydration, personal care, and positioning.
• Takes vital signs and helps patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Performs routine assigned tasks and reports patients' status and concerns to the RN.
• Maintains organization in the unit and prioritizes tasks effectively.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
