DOEFuture Security: 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match, Tuition Assistance, Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick time.Early Access: Your benefits start on the first day of employment.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport in operation of, start-up and shut-down compressors and related cryogenic bulk liquid product & tanks to includeCalibrate and maintain instrumentation on production plants, gas delivery systems, and liquid bulk systemsMaintain and repair PLC's, computers equipment, single loop controllers and operator interfacesRepair instrumentation as identified in work requests in the computerized maintenance management system. Tune P&ID control loopsCalibrate and maintain plant instrumentation (transmitters, valves, switches)Complete PM's as required in computerized maintenance management systemDocument work performed in a computerized maintenance management systemTroubleshoot plant control system issuesAssist in solving control system problems and installing new control systemsAssist with design of instrumentation related controlsMaintain spare parts inventory for instrumentation and control systemsWrite standard work orders in the computerized maintenance management systemLog instrumentation and controls activities that affect plant operations in the operations log booksMaintain test equipment calibration & associated recordsMaintain all I&E equipment records in both the CMMS & written formDirect and work closely with contractors, monitor and direct contractor work qualityRack in/out breakers & switchgear as necessaryProvide assistance at other Air Liquide plants or customer sites as neededReport pipeline and plant abnormalities to maintenance & plant managersReport safety incidents and near misses to maintenance & plant managersPerform job functions in a manner that meets or exceeds the company's HSE standardsControl costs to achieve budget targetsDemonstrate ability to follow directions from site operations managerOffers suggestions to improve system and procedure efficiency and qualityAbility to be on call and respond to plant sites within two hours as required when on call, and available by phone and able to reasonably support when not on dutyAll other duties based on business needsAre You a Match?Required Qualifications:On-call availability requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredFamiliarity with pneumatic & electronic controls, DCS systems, analyzers, transmitters and valvesGood communication skillsPossess good supervision/time management skills and be a self-motivated learnerDisplay aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem-solving actionsKnowledge of the use of a computerized maintenance management systemHighly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritize workAbility to maintain, repair, and calibrate analyzers, transmitters, control valves, etc.Basic understanding of the facility's control system, with the ability to develop detailed understandingThorough knowledge of the operation and safety aspects of the MCC/switchgearBasic understanding of the facility's process, with the ability to develop detailed understandingStrong verbal & written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Technical degree preferred4 years I&E experience required, plant environment preferred
