Schedule: Monday – Friday (No weekends!)

Your Impact as Center Director
As a leader within our organization, you will be the heartbeat of our early learning center. Your core responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: Hire, engage, and develop a team of passionate educators, fostering their professional growth.
- Culture Building: Create a workplace rooted in support, empathy, and compassion for staff, families, and the youth we serve.
- Safety & Excellence: Cultivate a secure environment focused on health and safety standards.
- Community Connection: Demonstrate an ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people across all social and economic segments of our community.
What You Bring to the Table
You are the ideal candidate if you meet the following qualifications:
- Education: AA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (DCYF-approved).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an early learning teacher.
- Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Early Achievers and program planning.
- Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

- Paid holidays (8 for Full-Time and 5 for Part-Time) + 1 self-selected holiday per year

- Paid time off of 6.5 days first year (increases based on years of service) for Full-Time
- Sick Days accrual per WA State Sick Leave Law for part-time employees (1 hr sick accrued for every 40 hours worked)
- Part-Time employees accrue paid time off (PTO) at rate of 0.0250 with a cap of 37 hours per year
- Medical insurance for Full-Time (employee pays $81/month for employee only coverage)
- Dental insurance for Full-Time (base plan paid 100% by BGCWC for employee only coverage)
- Vision insurance (plan paid 100% by BGCWC for employee only coverage)
- Life Insurance/Supplemental/Spouse/Children Insurance available (50% of life insurance premium paid by BGCWC) for Full-Time employee
- Short Term Disability (50% of premium paid by BGCWC) for Full-Time employee
- Long Term Disability (50% of premium paid by BGCWC) for Full-Time employee
- 401k plan after 1 year of service & 1,000 hours worked
