Analyst (Intermediate) - Executive Support

Job Summary SABG is hiring a full-time Analyst (Intermediate) to provide Executive Support for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role supports the Director of Staff (DS) Office with day‑to‑day activities. It is a full-time in‑office position with limited telework opportunities. Job Title Analyst (Intermediate) – Executive Support Location Fort Belvoir, VA Clearance DoD Secret security clearance required (must be able to obtain and maintain). Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Review, edit, and process correspondence packages for Executive Services as a Correspondence Management Officer (CMO). Review incoming correspondence/staff packages for Command Group review/signature, providing analytical and editorial support and ensuring adherence to all established correspondence guidance and policies. Use Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) cloud‑based application to manage incoming correspondence and Command Group staff packages. Assist the Staff Action Control Officer (SACO) team with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) tasker processing as needed. Work as a member of the Executive Support team to assist with solving routine problems. Support programmatic processes to meet stakeholder requirements. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree and seven years relevant experience required; an AA/AS with nine years may substitute for the BA/BS. Must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills to conduct planning, analysis, and trend analysis. Self‑starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, excellent communication skills, works well in a team, interacts with multiple levels of management, and manages customer and contractor relationships. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Proficient in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Possesses exceptionally strong writing skills. Computer Skills Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe PDF, and Teams. Reasoning Ability Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, question activities and issues, and make sound business decisions based on data. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, write, and type on a computer; frequently walk; use hands to reach; occasionally stand, climb, or balance; and requires close vision. Work Environment Manufacturing/office environment with standard office equipment (computer, photocopier, telephone). Noise level usually low to moderate.
