Volt is immediately hiring for Assemblers in Austin, TX. Our client is looking for experienced assemblers to add to the team in support of manufacturing, assembly, and parts inventory management on several new products ramping into production this year.

As an assembler, you will:

• Assemble components accurately according to specifications, blueprints, or work orders
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks efficiently
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Complete component quality testing and associated data collection worksheets
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas

This is a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, assembly, parts inventory, warehouse, or a related area
• Mechanical or simple machine repair abilities and/or aptitude is a plus
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
• Ability to effectively and safely use hand and power tools
• Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and processes
• Startup experience is a plus

Pay rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
