Puyallup, United States | Posted on 05/27/2026 Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Service Setting: Outpatient Community Health Center Coverage Period: ASAP – 3 Months with possibility to extend Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p with 1-hour unpaid lunch PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Newborns through Pediatrics Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 16 patients per day Case Mix: General Pediatric outpatient care FACILITY INFORMATION Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient clinic equipment Specialty Backup Available: Onsite pediatricians and behavioral health support Support Staff Available: Dedicated medical assistant, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and healthcare administrator PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: TBD COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES Pediatric wellness exams Sick visits and acute pediatric care Preventive pediatric care and immunizations JOB REQUIREMENTS COVID and Flu vaccinated Experience in outpatient community health or vulnerable populations preferred Must be proficient with Epic EMR and able to work in a fast-paced environment DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for newborns through adolescents Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Document patient encounters accurately within Epic EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary support staff and providers Deliver compassionate care to vulnerable and diverse patient populations #J-18808-Ljbffr
