Gastroenterology Area Business Manager - Mississippi Valley

Pfizer seeks a Gastroenterology Area Business Manager to lead 6–10 sales representatives across a four-state territory in the Mississippi Valley region. The role combines district operations, strategic planning, team development, and customer engagement with extensive travel and hybrid work across remote and in-field environments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise district operations including hiring, coaching, performance management, and assignment of priority accounts for 6–10 representatives
- Develop and execute strategic district and business plans aligned with regional expectations and budget oversight
- Monitor performance metrics and market trends to maximize district and regional business potential
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and cross-functional partners
- Coach representatives on sales skills, product knowledge, compliance, and hybrid selling capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3–5 years demonstrated leadership experience across peer and customer groups
- Prior pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales or marketing experience
- Valid US driver's license with compliant driving record
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and develop others toward business outcomes
- Experience with key opinion leaders or high-influence healthcare organizations preferred
