Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24/7 Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) setting with patient ratios of 3–4 patients per nurse
• Perform procedures including IV insertion, blood draws, EKG, Foley catheter placement, orthopedic splinting, and wound care
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including vital sign machines, BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, ortho glass, and AED
• Document patient care accurately using the MEDITECH electronic medical records system
• Collaborate effectively as a team member alongside charge RNs and paramedic mid-shift staff
• Float within the FSED as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Experience in a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDITECH EMR
• Strong team-oriented work style with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-unit environment
