COPA STC (Comprehensive and Objective Performance Assessments) is a 110,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art soccer training facility located at the Shadelands SportsMall in Walnut Creek, California. We combine elite coaching, cutting-edge technology, and advanced sports science to offer a data-driven training and assessment experience for athletes of all ages and skill levels. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Manager on Duty. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience throughout their time at COPA STC. The Front Desk Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, managing key administrative tasks, responding to customer inquiries, and supporting program areas such as Adult Evening Leagues, facility rentals, and youth programming. This position requires the ability to work independently in high-paced environments, with a service-first mentality and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all members, guests, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Handle member and guest check-ins, walk-ins, and inquiries efficiently.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally; respond to voicemails and emails as needed.
• Proactively address and resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Perform routine hourly attendance checks and facility walkthroughs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk workspace.
• Restock and maintain appearance of the Pro Shop, vending machines, concessions, and first aid kits.

• Maintain detailed knowledge of all COPA STC programs, memberships, events, rentals, and schedules.
• Assist customers with purchases, registrations, and bookings for: Memberships, Camps, Youth and Adult Leagues, Facility Rentals, Open Play and Events.
• Manage the creation and distribution of Welcome Boxes for new members.
• Assist with basic facility maintenance or coordination of support requests as needed.

Qualifications

• Quick learner and self-starter with a strong work ethic.
• Calm, empathetic, and confident demeanor, even under pressure.
• Ability to multitask effectively across competing priorities.
• Passion for soccer, youth development, and community programming.
• Reliable and punctual with a customer-first mindset.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or front desk role (preferred).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work required shifts: MondayFriday: 3:00 PM11:00 PM, SaturdaySunday: 8:30 AM4:30 PM.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Availability on weekends and evenings is required.
