Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic

Job Title

Duties

Performs maintenance on items including but not limited to commercial centrifugal chillers, reciprocating units, rotary units, heat pumps, cooling towers, air cooled condensers, walk in and reach in freezers, refrigerators.

Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and systems within the facility.

Repairs and/or installs sophisticated heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

Select trade tools and/or precision instruments for repairs.

Diagnoses system problems by visual and/or audible examination.

Troubleshoots equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to isolate problems.
