Licensed Talk Therapist

Thriveworks is seeking a Licensed Talk Therapist to provide high-quality outpatient counseling to individuals, couples, and families in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will complete diagnostic assessments, create evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver ongoing therapy in both in-person and virtual formats. You’ll document care in our EHR, collaborate with clinical leaders and psychiatry, and practice with strong ethical and cultural humility standards. Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse outpatient caseload Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans Deliver services in-person and via secure telehealth platforms Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR consistent with insurance standards Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care, and internal clinical leaders on client care Monitor risk, complete safety planning, and follow crisis and escalation protocols Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, and ongoing professional development Uphold ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards and insurer requirements Engage in culturally responsive and inclusive care for all clients Contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven team culture focused on high-quality access to care Outpatient psychotherapy Diagnostic assessment (DSM-5-TR) Treatment planning Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Crisis intervention and risk assessment Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Telehealth service delivery Ethical and legal compliance in mental health Insurance and billing documentation Cultural humility and trauma-informed care Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Requirements Active state license as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field Eligibility to panel with major insurance providers Clean professional and legal standing Experience with telehealth platforms preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Chapter 13 Trustee Middle District of Alabama
