Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced CVICU Travel Nurse for a placement in Parkersburg, WV. This travel assignment involves working with critically ill cardiac patients in an acute care setting. As an RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, you will play a key role in patient recovery and care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Caring for patients with atrial fibrillation, heart blocks, bradycardia, and other cardiac conditions
• Managing post-op patients including those with open heart surgery
• Using and monitoring cardiac equipment like CRRT, ventilators, and arterial lines
• Administering and titrating a variety of medications and drips
• Collaborating with healthcare team members including Intensivists and Respiratory Therapists
• Assisting in the orientation of new staff through a comprehensive program
• Floating as required primarily to ACU, ICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry

Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Active RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with >6 hr post-op open heart patients
• Proficiency in managing Impella, arterial lines, and ventilators
• Experience with Mediastinal/Chest tubes, Hypothermia Protocol, and titration of common drips
