Building Engineer, Data Centers (Night Shift)

Salary: $110,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• We need someone who can move across large, campus-style environments.
• We require the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• You must be comfortable climbing stairs and accessing equipment on rooftops.
• You need to be able to use ladders up to 30 ft and work at heights.
• You must be able to climb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit.
• You must be available for varying schedules.
• You must be available to work holidays.
• You must be able to respond to site emergencies.
• You should bring 2+ years of experience in a data center or critical facility.
• You should have experience with building systems such as UPS units, emergency generators, and switchgear.
• You need strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You should have working knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, and CMMS applications.
• Preferred: Corrigo experience.
• Preferred: Universal EPA 608 certification.
• Preferred: Training in NFPA70E.

• We maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on all building systems to support continuous 100% uptime, including fire/life safety, mechanical, electrical, and hot water systems.
• We monitor, adjust, and service refrigeration, chilled water, air conditioning, boilers, pumps, valves, piping, filters, and related mechanical and electrical equipment.
• We record equipment readings and make adjustments as needed to keep systems operating correctly.
• We analyze system performance, identify the cause of malfunctions, and take corrective action.
• We follow departmental policies for the safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• We keep the workplace clean and safe.
• We learn the site thoroughly so we can manage incidents and events that place critical systems at risk.
• We handle work order management, including CMMS, vendor coordination, and customer-facing tickets.
• We follow emergency escalation procedures.
• We carry out additional duties as needed.
