Digital Communications Strategist

Savvee Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Strategist to support our federal client on-site in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and creative communicator with deep experience in digital campaign development, stakeholder engagement, and multimedia production. As a key player on the team, you will lead the planning and execution of digital communications initiatives that support the client's mission and elevate public engagement.

Essential Functions

• Leading the development of digital communications campaigns and associated deliverables.
• Briefing senior leadership on approach strategy, implementation, and measures for success.
• Developing and executing digital components of strategic communication action plans.
• Maintaining an understanding of current events relating to the client and their work while analyzing and developing appropriate and effective responses to those events.
• Building and maintaining a trusting relationship with the client.
• Understanding the client's priorities and providing creative ideas and strategic thought to support their mission.
• Coordinating scheduling, agendas, materials, participant lists and action items for multiple working groups and councils.
• Facilitating client meetings and maintaining all aspects of meeting coordination, keeping meetings on time and on agenda and following up on action items.
• Developing and maintaining program organizational charts and stakeholder outreach matrices.
• Coordinating with client offices to produce multimedia products including but not limited to infographics and video.
• Coordinating development and tracking responses to requests for information from other government agencies.
• Leading and supporting communications focused projects and initiatives.
• Leading and facilitating client meetings and exercises.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

Required Education and Training

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, digital media or a related field WITH six or more years of relevant experience, OR
• Master's degree in business, communications, marketing, digital media or a related field WITH four or more years of relevant experience

Minimum Experience and Skills Required

• Six or more years of relevant experience
• Ability to plan and develop strategic digital communications strategy and provide implementation and management consulting to commercial of Federal clientele
• Ability to communicate comfortably and effectively with a range of stakeholders both orally and in email
• Must have the ability to obtain the client's Public Trust clearance
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
