Parts Counter Person

Lexus of Portland has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Counter Person to join their team!

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Parts Counter Person to assist service technicians and team members in finding the appropriate accessories and order parts for repairs and upgrades to consumer vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist customers, technicians and sales consultants with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person or via the telephone
• Handle cash and other purchasing transactions
• Operate the electronic and paper cataloging system to retrieve up-to-date parts information
• Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
• Maintain stock of the parts department by assisting with shipping and receiving and will maintain the parts database.
• Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance always

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience in automotive parts department highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Total Target Compensation: $72K-78K/annually (depending on experience)

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time

In geographic areas with statutory paid sick leave, part-time and temporary employees will receive a paid sick leave benefit that meets the mandated requirements.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $44,860.00 - $59,435.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
