Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with accepted standards. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; providing health education and counseling; executing medical functions; and ensuring documentation compliance. The position may require floating to other departments within scope and participating in on-call duties during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS - American Heart Association certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Responsibilities include triage, nursing care, patient assessment, health teaching, health counseling, medical function execution, consulting, delegation, supervision, therapy and treatment planning, and documentation.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be placed on-call during scheduled shift.
