Advertising Account Executive, Market Retail

Job Summary This Account Executive role, based in Eagle, Summit, Garfield, or Pitkin County, Colorado is a home-based, client-facing position responsible for developing, servicing, and maintaining a portfolio of local clients and/or agency relationships. The role focuses on driving advertising revenue through a mix of new business acquisition and account management, including conducting in-person meetings to build strong partnerships within the community. The Account Executive will sell advertising and media solutions aligned to client objectives, leveraging zone buying strategies to deliver targeted, cost-effective campaigns for small and mid-sized advertisers within their retail trading areas. This position carries responsibility for achieving established annual sales goals within a collaborative team environment, operates with moderate guidance, and requires strong ownership of territory growth, client retention, and overall revenue performance. Core Responsibilities Analyzes, develops and presents market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products. Assists in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue. Interacts with various internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitor account activities and manage collections. Maintains up-to-date customer and prospect records and participates in development of sales forecasts. Completes required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls and expense reports. Seeks new customers by continuously prospecting following Company's planned sales strategies and tactics. Analyzes confidential information, prepares reports, manuals, agendas and general correspondence. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
