Obstetrics Gynecology Physician

• Schedule: 8/28/2026 (orientation/training day) through 8/31/2026; Coverage begins 7:00 AM on 8/29 and ends 7:00 AM on 8/31; Orientation is approximately 4 hours (with strong Epic knowledge) or 8 hours (without Epic knowledge)
• Job Setting: Inpatient; Call Only (Beeper Call); 30-minute call response time required; 5 beds in department; approximately 250 deliveries per year
• Types of Cases: OB/GYN call coverage including both obstetrics and gynecology; low and high-risk pregnancy; FHR interpretation; OB ultrasounds (Level I & II); amniocentesis; routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs); repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations; office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP); surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major); admissions required; rounding assigned patients (approximately 3 patients per shift, 2 admissions, 5 patients seen); 50% call back rate; EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days; temporary privileges available (no malpractice background required for temp privileges); no prior malpractice suits or settlements required; facility will not reimburse licensing costs; IMLC not accepted

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
• Licensure: Active Texas state license required (TX only; IMLC not accepted)
