Rebar Fabricator / Shop Hand
Location: Southeast Oklahoma City, OK
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – Finish (Overtime Required)
About the PositionExpress Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Rebar Fabricators for a leading steel fabrication facility in South Oklahoma City. This is a physically demanding, industrial position offering consistent overtime and long-term opportunities for dependable employees who enjoy hands-on work.
Responsibilities- Operate rebar fabrication equipment, including shears, benders, and other production machinery.
- Cut, bend, and fabricate reinforcing steel according to work orders and specifications.
- Load and unload steel materials and assist with preparing finished products for shipment.
- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts (training or certification preferred).
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in rebar fabrication, steel manufacturing, welding, or heavy industrial production preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and interpret work orders.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
