Duties/Responsibilities:

Welcome guests upon seating and ensure tables are clean, properly set, and fully stocked with utensils, napkins, and other essentials.

Present menus, highlight daily specials, and provide knowledgeable answers to guest questions regarding menu items.

Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.

Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and requested items promptly and with care.

Verify orders are prepared correctly and meet guest expectations; promptly resolve any issues with the kitchen when needed.

Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and respond to additional needs as they arise.

Clear tables efficiently by removing used dishes and resetting as guests finish dining.

Prepare guest checks, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.

Assist with general restaurant duties including dining room cleanliness, table maintenance, and preparation of silverware and condiments.

Perform other related duties as assigned to support smooth restaurant operations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent personal and customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Well-organized with ability to accurately take, place, and deliver food & beverage orders to guests and patrons.

Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Education and Experience:

Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages).

Previous experience as a server preferred.

Must successfully complete restaurant’s training course.

Food handlers training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 40 pounds.
