OR RN (Registered Nurse) in Scottsbluff, NE

Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated OR RN (Registered Nurse) to join our team for an assignment in Scottsbluff, NE within the Healthcare & Medical Services industry. As an OR RN working through Capstone, you will provide high‑quality perioperative nursing care in a hospital operating room, supporting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader surgical team to ensure safe and efficient procedures for patients.
In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of perioperative care, including pre‑operative assessment and patient education, intra‑operative circulating and/or scrubbing duties, and post‑operative support as patients transition to PACU or the next level of care. You will verify consents, confirm surgical site and procedure, perform thorough assessments, and ensure that each patient’s physical and emotional needs are addressed before entering the operating room. During procedures, you will maintain a sterile and safe environment, manage equipment and supplies, monitor the patient’s status, and advocate for the patient at every stage.
The OR RN will collaborate closely with surgeons and anesthesia providers, anticipate needs during surgery, handle instruments and specimens accurately, and document all aspects of care in the Electronic Medical Record. You will adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols, surgical safety checklists, and hospital policies while participating in quality initiatives and contributing to a culture of safety. Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment are essential.
