Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the PT department
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday (5x8 hours, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
• Candidates will float within scope of practice as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• VA state license or compact state license required at time of submittal (VA temporary license accepted if candidate holds a valid license in another state)
• License required if applicable
• BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• 2 professional references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility follows a natural nail policy
• Facility will review all background check results as part of the hiring process
• Modules are assigned during orientation via the VCU Learning Exchange and must be completed by the Friday of orientation week
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application; no time off granted during the first week of assignment
• Travelers and permanent staff must be separated from VCU Health for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Locals accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions
• ER and Psych candidates must undergo fingerprinting per Virginia law, with results typically taking 15-20 business days; candidates cannot start with pending results
