Location: Medford, Oregon
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule- Night Shift
- Block Schedule Available
- Friday night shifts required (extending into Saturday morning)
- No On-Call Requirement
- First-Time Travelers Accepted
- Active Oregon Polysomnographic License required at time of submission
- Experience in sleep studies and polysomnography preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Oregon Polysomnographic License
We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies in a hospital-based sleep center. The ideal candidate will be experienced in monitoring patients during overnight studies, collecting physiological data, and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct overnight polysomnography and sleep studies according to established protocols
- Prepare patients for testing and explain study procedures
- Apply electrodes and monitoring equipment to record physiological activity during sleep
- Monitor, document, and respond to patient events throughout the study
- Perform CPAP and BiPAP titration studies as ordered
- Ensure accurate collection, recording, and documentation of sleep study data
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain study quality
- Provide patient education regarding sleep testing procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and treatment planning
- Complete documentation using the electronic medical record system
