Job Title: Facilities Technician B (Automotive Mechanic) Job Code: 38192 Job Location: Camden, AR Job Schedule: 4/10 employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week Job Description We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team in Camden, AR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting vehicle issues, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. This role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, completing routine maintenance, and supporting the upkeep of automotive equipment while following established work procedures and general maintenance standards. The candidate should have working knowledge of forklifts, tractors, man-lifts, and related gas- and diesel-powered equipment. Essential Functions Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles and equipment. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and brake service. Inspect and test drive vehicles to identify problems and verify repairs. Repair or replace faulty parts, including brake and air conditioning components. Complete preventive and general maintenance to support safe and reliable operation. Install new equipment and components as needed. Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork. Order parts and materials needed for repairs in a timely manner. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good condition. Stay current on manufacturer service, maintenance, and repair procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant mechanical experience OR 2 years post‑Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related mechanical experience. Valid state issued Driver's License. Preferred Additional Skills Mechanical certification or training from a college or trade school is a plus.
