We are excited to announce the creation of a new surgical department and are seeking a skilled and visionary Veterinary Surgeon to lead this pioneering initiative. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and establish the new surgical department, including protocols and procedures.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including soft tissue, orthopedic, and emergency surgeries.
- Collaborate with our team of specialists and emergency veterinarians to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educate staff and pet owners about surgical options, risks, and post-operative care.
- Lead and participate in ongoing training and development for the surgical team.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence in patient care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Board certification or residency training in surgery preferred, but not required.
- Proven surgical skills with experience in emergency surgery.
- Strong leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Visionary mindset with a commitment to advancing veterinary medicine.
