Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist

Location: Augusta, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with flexibility on start and end times. Two weekends during the assignment are required.

Job Description: Join our dynamic Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, where you will treat patients recovering from various physical ailments and improve their mobility and overall function. The unit consists of 28 beds with patient ratios of 4-6, treating an average of 3-4 patients daily, occasionally up to 5. You will collaborate with a team of therapy techs and utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions to promote recovery and mobility.
• Perform wound care and utilize modern rehabilitation equipment.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required.
