About the Role:

The Authorizations Specialist Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in managing and overseeing the authorizations team to ensure timely and accurate processing of service requests within healthcare or insurance settings. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while optimizing workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction. The supervisor will lead, mentor, and develop a team of authorization specialists, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and professional growth. They will serve as a key liaison between internal departments, external providers, and clients to resolve complex authorization issues and facilitate seamless communication. Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare authorizations or a similar role.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in a healthcare or insurance environment.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare authorization processes, insurance policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with authorization management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare claims systems.
• Certification in healthcare management or related professional credentials.
