Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Neonatal Registered Nurses for a travel position in the NICU. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU and is designed for those who are adaptable and willing to float to different campuses as needed.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Orientation Hours: 24

Requirements

Must be a permanent employee of any affiliated facility for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for this travel position.
Active compact nursing license is required at the time of submission.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU.
Emergency certifications: BLS, NRP.
Previous charge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and provide care for neonates and infants in a Level III/IV NICU setting.
Administer medications, including blood/blood products, with expertise.
Utilize high-frequency ventilators and other advanced neonatal care equipment.
Attend high-risk deliveries and assist in neonatal surgeries as required.
Care for infants, including feeding tube management and ventilator support.
Float to different campuses or units as needed, including potential assignment as a sitter.

Unit Details

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 77 beds and an average census of 50.
Patient age groups focus on neonates and infants.
Interdisciplinary support from various healthcare services, including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.

Additional Information

Must be willing to work three of the five major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
Requests for time off or specific scheduling must be made upfront during submission and are subject to approval.
No direct contact with facility personnel is permitted except for agreed-upon interviews.
