Senior Application Security Engineer
Finalsite is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join our remote team in India. This role is pivotal in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities within our web applications and proprietary software systems. You will collaborate closely with development and quality assurance teams to ensure our applications adhere to the highest security standards, all while maintaining compliance with educational data privacy laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical triage on security vulnerabilities across web applications.
- Modify and refactor.NET/C# code to remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and enforce secure coding standards across development teams.
- Assist developers with code reviews and secure coding guidelines.
- Monitor emerging web application threats and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on application security experience.
- Strong software development experience with.NET/C#.
- In-depth understanding of web application vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
- Experience with SAST, DAST, and bug bounty management.
