Radiologic Technologist - MRI

Work Schedule :
100% FTE, evening/night shift. Monday through Friday 2:30PM - 12:00AM, overnight if needed. Saturday rotation required. On-call and holiday shifts required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay :

• External hires may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign on bonus.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist - MRI to:

• Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.
• Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations.
• Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
• Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
• Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

• Previous healthcare experience Required
• 2 years of clinical experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Wisconsin Radiological License
  *WI Radiological License is not necessary if ARRT (MR) certification was obtained via the post primary pathway. Upon Hire Preferred
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required or
• American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire Required
• ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification within 30 months Required
• CPR certification within 3 months Required

*For travelers, ARMRIT or ARRT MR and BLS required. No education verification required for travelers due to certification requirements
