We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chrome Plater to join a local company in Toledo, OH. This role is responsible for applying a flash chrome coating to metal components to improve appearance, corrosion resistance, and surface durability. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Eligible for monthly production bonuses. Available shifts: 1st shift (7:30AM to 4PM), Work 40 - 50 hrs weekly.

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor chemical baths and plating solutions to ensure proper concentrations and performance.
• Set up, operate, and adjust plating equipment according to production requirements.
• Monitor process parameters to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, appearance, and adherence to specifications.
• Identify and report quality issues or process concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Follow established work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer specifications and company standards.
• Follow safety and quality procedures to ensure proper handling and processing of parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have 3 plus years at previous employers
• Comfortable with working in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and basic counting/math skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Previous experience as an auto mechanic or in a hands-on mechanical role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools, equipment, and troubleshooting processes.
• Prior manufacturing or plating experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Willingness to learn.
