Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel We're looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Boston, MA. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Responsibilities Work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions. Provide basic bedside care. Clean and bandage wounds. Provide IV therapy. Maintain supplies and medical equipment. Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies. Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‐being. Perform minor medical procedures and advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries. Plan long‑term care needs. Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 50 pounds when needed. Qualifications ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications. 2 years of recent acute care experience. Ability to cope with stress and relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. TotalMed Travel Job ID #1381985.
